TAMA Starclassic Performer drums build on the proven design of the Starclassic Maple series with a distinctive maple and birch shell construction. This combination brings together the warm, rounded character of maple with the added rigidity and defined attack of birch, resulting in a responsive and balanced sound with strong presence. The Starclassic Performer 5-piece shell pack also features hardware associated with the Starclassic line, including TAMA die cast hoops, the Star Cast mounting system, and Evans drumheads.

Blacked Out Black Edition

The limited edition TAMA Starclassic Performer Blacked Out Black Edition gives the series a bold, unified appearance. The shells, drum lugs, hoops, and other visible components are finished in matte black, creating a consistent dark aesthetic throughout the set.

Deep Black Shell Interiors

One of the most distinctive details is the treatment inside each shell. The interiors are finished in deep black, while clear tom heads allow the dark interior surfaces to remain visible. This creates additional visual depth from the player position and gives the set a distinctive appearance from multiple angles. A black Fiberskyn style front bass drum head completes the coordinated look.

5 Piece Shell Configuration

The shell pack is configured with two rack toms, two floor toms, and a bass drum, providing a broad range of drum sizes for different playing styles and arrangements. Two MC69 Single Tom Attachments are also included for mounting the rack toms.
