This is a 1984 Gibson Designer Series Explorer with the well-known black and gold stripes finish. The guitar is in overall very good condition with its share of dents and dings around the body but nothing of which affects the playability. The guitar has a replaced wiring harness and a set of Righteous Sound humbuckers installed. The tone knob pot is stiff but sounds as it should with no crackling. The upper strap pin has been replaced with a leather strap holder for a different positioning. The guitar includes the original case however no tremolo arm for the Kahler.
