The Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff is a high-gain, analog distortion pedal specifically engineered for heavy metal guitarists, featuring a powerful 3-band EQ to sculpt aggressive tones. Unlike traditional fuzz-leaning Big Muff pedals, it operates as a dedicated high-gain distortion unit designed to provide sharp note clarity, deep mid-scooping capabilities, and tight low-end response. Full-Sized Metal Muff with Top Boost The original full-sized model is famous for its massive footprint and dedicated Top Boost footswitch, which triggers a narrow-band treble emphasis designed to help guitar solos slice cleanly through a heavy band mix.
