Some of Pittsburgh Modular’s finest work…
the Microvolt 3900 is a powerhouse of a little analog monophonic semi-modular Synth, with a fantastic VCO that later became their popular and now sold out Primary VCO, plus a sweet sounding filter and LPG, a Function Generator, a robust Random section, a huge selection of CV patch points, and more, all in a small package with a big sound, it’s part Moog, part Roland, parts Wavefolding, it really is a lovely collection of functionality and sounds.
It’s a killer synth in general and especially if you’re getting into modular, an excellent companion to some eurorack, or a Moog Grandmother , or etc.
