Coil Cables for the Performing Musician Lava Cable’s revolutionary Retro Coil instrument cables feature a proprietary outer jacket made from a unique hybrid elastomeric polymer blend that makes it one of the most rugged and lightweight coil cables we’ve seen here at Sweetwater. The jacket material also allows for a rainbow of vibrant, brilliant colors like nothing we’ve ever seen before. Retro Coils pass signal better than other coil cords because the tone-killing effects of high capacitance are minimized by using a 99.99% pure oxygen-free copper low-strand-count conductor and spiral shield as well as a nitrogen-injected FPE dielectric that dials in the ideal amount of capacitance to sound just right — neither too dark nor too bright. If you’ve been frustrated by other coil cables’ sonic performance and reliability, it’s time to check out Lava Cable Retro Coil instrument cables.Handmade and combat-tested Designed to withstand high heat and combat-like situations,
