For sale is a Vintage 1965 King super 20 alto sax, it is one of the best American made saxophones, with a big sound and excellent ergonomics. It has a silver neck and one can still see the N.H.
White Cleveland engraving. After 1965 was the move to Eastland and partnering w/Mexico which many believe led to the decline of the company. Look for the deco engraving on the side keys.
There is a lacquer loss and wear more noticeable on the back of the tube and the pants guard, you'll see scratches but there are no dings or dents. Recently I had it checked for leaks at Roberto's winds, the pads may be original, not sure, so it does need some work, and then you'll have a killer horn. It plays well, but bring it in to your tech, a horn w/this pedigree deserves it.. Will sell only in continental USA and will ship UPS. Certainly make me an offer and you may be surprised.
