Up for sale is a stunning and rare 1996 Gibson Custom Shop Firebird VII Reverse Reissue finished in Polaris White with gold hardware—a true collector’s piece from the golden mid-90s era. This rare, early Nashville Custom Shop production features a highly desirable factory transitional spec: a gorgeous dark rosewood board adorned with sharp trapezoid inlays instead of the standard ebony/block configuration traditionally found on standard VII models. Coupled with its factory stopbar tailpiece setup, it is an incredibly unique and rock-solid find for any high-end Gibson purist.

This instrument features a trio of mini-humbuckers offering incredible tonal versatility, along with mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays on a bound rosewood fretboard. The original nitrocellulose finish exhibits beautiful, natural finish checking/crackling throughout the body and neck, giving it an authentic vintage vibe.
