Alleva Coppolo LG5 Standard in Blue Metallic with Bound Indonesian Rosewood Fingerboard & AC In-House 60s Pickups

That blue metallic finish is genuinely unlike anything I have had come through FretSpot. Not quite Lake Placid Blue, not quite Robin's Egg, somewhere beautifully in between with just a hint of Caribbean warmth running through it. Paired with a matching blue headstock and a white bound fingerboard it is a stunning, cohesive combination that photographs beautifully and looks even better in person.

The bound fingerboard is the detail that sets this particular LG5 Standard apart visually from the standard unbound version. White binding against that dark Indonesian Rosewood against that blue metallic finish: every element works together perfectly. As always the LG series delivers from the very first note. Western Red Alder body, Sugar Maple neck in a vintage taper profile, Alleva Coppolo in-house pickups wound to period-correct 60s specs at 60s placement, and the bypassable two-band boost-only preamp. I spent most of my demo time in passive and it sounded like that. That is the whole thing with these basses: they are so musical and resonant in passive that the preamp almost feels like a bonus. Proprietary bent plate bridge, lollipop style Hipshot tuners, bone nut, vintage small frets, 34" scale, 19mm string spacing.
