Bedell 1964 Dreadnought — Pre-Owned

Condition: Very Good- No repairs, good action, working electronics (if present). Signs of use including light fret/fretboard wear, swirling, light scratches, and pick marks.

This guitar has a scratch on the upper right bout and a smaller scratch on upper left bout (see pics). Some pick marks and swirling on headstock.

A USA-built Adirondack spruce and Honduran mahogany dreadnought in the spirit of the mid-1960s folk-rock instruments Tom Bedell set out to recapture: warm mahogany body, open spruce top, traditional X-bracing, and a straightforward, all-wood aesthetic.

Bedell introduced the 1964 Series in 2013 as an accessible, ethically sourced American-made line. This dreadnought uses Adirondackfor the soundboard and sustainably harvested Honduran mahogany for the back, sides, and neck. The pairing gives a thick low end, present midrange, and a controlled, singing treble—more “campfire and coffeehouse” than modern boom.
