This is a Fender Japan Jaguar, model JG66-85. The serial number is Made in Japan N + 6 digits, dating it to approximately 1993–1994. This is one of the highly regarded FujiGen-made examples.

Prior to listing, the guitar was professionally serviced and fully set up by a repair technician, including fret leveling. To help prevent the strings from slipping out of position, the original bridge saddles have been replaced with new Mustang-style saddles. The pots have been upgraded to CTS, the capacitor has been replaced with an oil capacitor, and the output jack has been upgraded to Switchcraft.

It features an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. Considering its age, it remains in good overall condition and would be a great choice for anyone who has been looking for one of these.

The guitar weighs approximately 3.9 kg / 8.6 lbs.

There are no major chips or areas of damage exposing the wood, and overall, the condition is quite good for a guitar that is more than 30 years old. The frets have been leveled and still have plenty of usable life remaining. There are some buckle marks on the back of the body, as well as various small scratches and signs of use throughout. The guitar has been thoroughly cleaned, adjusted, and set up.

It comes with a Fender soft case. The tremolo arm is missing.
