The Fender California Deluxe Redondo CE Sherwood Green combines the laid-back style of the California series with the full, powerful sound of a dreadnought acoustic guitar. Its solid top ensures a lively response and lends the sound dynamism, presence and projection. Thanks to the built-in pickup , the guitar is also ideally suited for the stage, the rehearsal room and recording.

The tonal foundation of the California Deluxe Redondo CE Sherwood Green is provided by a solid spruce top, combined with a laminated mahogany back and sides . This tried-and-tested combination of woods delivers a balanced tone with brilliant trebles, clearly defined mids and a pleasant warmth. The sound is further enhanced by the Scalloped X Bracing, which allows the top to vibrate particularly efficiently. As a result, the guitar benefits from an open response, lively resonance and impressive volume.

The guitar also impresses from an ergonomic point of view. The mahogany neck, with its slim Slim-C profile, offers a comfortable playing experience and supports a relaxed fingering position, whilst the walnut fingerboard ensures a comfortable feel and enables precise movements across the entire scale length. Thanks to the integrated cutaway , the higher frets are also much easier to reach, which is particularly beneficial for soloists and advanced players.

For use on stage or in the studio, the California Deluxe Redondo CE Sherwood Green features a Fishman pickup system that reliably amplifies and transmits the guitar’s natural sound. The integrated preamp in the side offers extensive options for customising the sound. In addition to a volume control, there are separate controls for adjusting bass and treble, allowing the sound to be tailored precisely to different playing situations. A handy tuner rounds off the features and enables quick and easy retuning.

Visually, too, the California Deluxe Redondo CE Sherwood Green stands out from the crowd. The Sherwood Green finish gives this acoustic guitar an elegant yet modern look that emphasises its distinctive character. Stylish tortoise bindings and a colour-coordinated tortoise pickguard add tasteful accents and lend a touch of classic vintage aesthetics. Another characteristic detail is the distinctive Fender headstock, which gives the instrument a high degree of recognisability and skilfully highlights its connection to the brand’s rich history of electric guitars.
