Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Standard Satin 22 Charcoal 2007

The Paul Reed Smith "Standard Satin (Stripped)" model, introduced around 2007, features an all-mahogany body with a satin finish, characterized by its rich tone that highlights the wood's texture and its high cost performance.

This particular guitar is a 2007 model, a 22-fret "Standard Satin 22". It has a wide-fat neck shape, a charcoal satin finish, and weighs 3.52kg.

It boasts a beautifully curved all-mahogany body with a classic shape, with a mahogany neck and an East Indian rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with bird inlays, locking tuners, and nickel hardware, it has a distinctly PRS look and feel, as was the case until around 2008.

The pickups are covered "Dragon 2 Treble/Bass," which more accurately express picking nuances and deliver a pleasant vintage sound from clean to crunch. The classic control layout with volume/tone and rotary pickup selector is sure to appeal to long-time PRS fans.

It boasts the sweet, lustrous tone and unique playability characteristic of mahogany, along with a comfortable drive and warm clean tone. Compared to a Gibson, it's lighter and significantly easier to play on stage than a Les Paul. Its high-position playability is particularly impressive, and its robust appearance makes it suitable for any genre.

There are a certain number of people who say that PRS guitars with rotary selectors sound better, and I certainly agree. While blade or toggle switches are certainly more convenient, the sound quality of this one makes me want to choose it despite its inconvenience. With the same quality as the Custom 24, the distinctive mahogany sound, and excellent craftsmanship, this is a truly great guitar.

Furthermore, this guitar has been refretted in our shop, so it feels like new. Its well-worn patina adds character, making it ready to be used immediately!

When examining a truss rod on a straight neck, we check that it can turn up to about 45 degrees in both directions. When we say the truss rod can be adjusted, we mean it can be adjusted up to 45 degrees. Anything beyond that risks damaging the instrument.
