Up for sale today is a circa-1966 Gibson Country Western Model Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar in very good, borderline good condition with a Hard Case. This instrument comes in a Natural finish and weighs in at 4lbs 7oz. Made in Kalamazoo, #062384.

This often overlooked model has a lot of character and a huge sound. Only one owner in its 60 years of life! One front crack repair is evident. Significant and gorgeous finishing cracking throughout. Binding is tight. Frets have been leveled and still have some life yet. Send any questions our way!

The Gibson Country Western / SJN model from the mid-to-late 1960s was a rather profound departure from the original model. These guitars featured a more Martin-like square shoulder body shape, and in 1963 had a plastic bridge, many of which have been replaced for better sound. The rosewood bridge was reintroduced in 1964.
