ESP LTD GT-600 Glenn Tipton Signature – Black

The ESP LTD GT-600 Glenn Tipton Signature is one of those guitars that makes absolutely no attempt to be subtle. Built around the Judas Priest legend’s unmistakable style, the GT-600 takes the familiar double-cutaway shape and turns the aggression all the way up with its gloss black finish, red accents, mirror pickguard, red EMG pickups, and Kahler tremolo.

The red EMGs are a huge part of both the look and personality of this guitar, delivering the kind of tight, powerful response you’d expect from a Tipton signature model. The Kahler bridge completes the package and gives it a distinctly different feel from the more typical locking tremolo setups found on most modern metal guitars.

It’s a genuinely striking guitar in person, although it is also weirdly difficult to photograph. Between the gloss black finish and highly reflective mirror pickguard, it picks up basically everything around it. The photos do their best to represent it accurately, but this is definitely one that looks better in person.

This example is in very good condition, with only a couple of very minor bumps from normal handling and use. Overall, it presents extremely well.

One thing worth specifically noting is the truss rod cover. The installed cover is marked KS-M6 rather than the original GT-600 cover. We’ve left it exactly as received and photographed it clearly so there are no surprises.

The guitar has been tested and is fully functional and playable. As with any used instrument, individual setup preferences vary, so a professional setup may be desired depending on your preferred action, string gauge, and playing style.
