This is an unusual but often used mis-matched set (of 1 each). This was intentional as a Hi-hat option for a professional music studio's house drum kit. Both top hats. Our studio drummer -- a big name in jazz and rock circles -- selected this for us so that he could combine or flip the sound characteristics.
The dark, ultra-warm, soft, and complex with rich, delicate vintage overtones of the K Constantinople mixed with the powerfully explosive, bright, cutting, and bold with maximum wash and high projection of the Z Custom. You can get both sounds, and flip which one is on top for an instantly different sound without having to put on a new hi-hat set. It is great for fusion drummers or modenr jazz drummers looking for a unique hybrid sound.
