INFO:
The Ibanez MT10 Mostortion is a vintage distortion and overdrive guitar pedal from the late 1980s Power Series (produced roughly between 1990–1993, introduced around 1988). It is famous for using CMOS technology (specifically an IC like the CA3260E op-amp) to emulate a warm tube preamp.
Ibanez never issued a traditional multi-page user manual for the MT10, as standard 10-series pedals came with a simple one-page spec/instruction sheet. However, technical documentation and the official schematic are available.Control Layout & Features
- Distortion Knob: Controls the preamp gain. At lower settings, the pedal functions cleanly as a transparent booster.
- 3-Band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble): Active tone controls allowing for a wide spectrum of frequencies.
- Level Knob: Controls overall output volume.
- Power Supply: Operates on a standard 9V battery or an external 9V DC power adapter (Ibanez AC109 or equivalent center-negative supply).
