Inspired by classic American GT muscle cars, the Suhr Andy Wood GT models fuse high-performance design with bold, automotive-inspired style. Finished in striking GT Blue or GT Red, these guitars channel hot-rod attitude while delivering the precision and vesatility Andy Wood demands.

Built in Lake Elsinore, Califormia, the Modern T swamp ash body and gloss finish provide punch, clarity, and visual impact, while the roasted maple neck and fingerboard with a fast Modern Elliptical profile and 16" radius are engineered for speed and control. Jumbo stainless steel frets, a satin neck finish, and rock-solid hardware make the Andy Wood GT feel effortless under the hands, while Suhr Woodbucker pickups and flexible switching deliver everything from articulate cleans to full-throttle gain. Equal parts muscle, finesse, and boutique craftsmanship, the Andy Wood GT is a true performance machine-designed to look fast, feel fast, and sound powerful.

"With this new pairing of colors I really drew inspiration from the great Carroll Shelby. There's so many iconic looks throughout the history of Shelby, but 2 things always remained, a red and a blue. Two of the most iconic colors not only racing but in the history of the electric guitar. The Suhr team and I came up with a very special look for these GT inspired hot rods and I'm very proud of how they turned out. Thanks Shelby, thanks Suhr. It's kinda funny, if Leo Fender is Henry Ford, then John Suhr is definitely Carroll Shelby." -Andy Wood
