This 1989 Peavey Vandenburg was tucked away in closet for years before it arrived at our shop!
The body is in decent shape for its age. There are signs of dings, dents, and scratches from decades of play wear! See Pictures!
There’s some ghosting marks from the stickers that were once on it (All glue residue was removed carefully) and the body has a few finish chips along the edge that are pictured above! The neck pickup was not functioning as intended when we acquired it, and so we threw a DiMarzio Pickup in the neck so that the guitar could be fully enjoyed!
The original pickup is included in the sale!
The neck is in great shape for its age! Frets are original and have signs of wear, but there’s still plenty of meat on the bones for dressing and other setup work! Neck is free of any breaks or repairs, and the truss rod was tested & deemed functional in both directions!
The Vandenburg Headstock is notorious for accruing dings, cracks, and bits chipping off. But this one is surprisingly clean and looks fantastic!
No overspray looks to be present in any of the guitar!
