Up for sale is a classic M-Audio Tampa Professional Studio Microphone Preamplifier and Compressor bundle.

This single-channel analog unit was highly regarded in its era for its discrete class-A circuitry and temporal harmonic alignment.

It is being sold strictly FOR PARTS OR REPAIR as it does not power up.

Condition Details:

Power Issue: When connected to the power supply, the unit does not turn on and the front panel LEDs/meters do not illuminate.

Cosmetic Condition: The exterior chassis shows some minor rack rash and typical studio wear, but all knobs, switches, and rear ports are physically intact and firmly in place.

Internal Condition: I have removed the top cover to inspect the board (see photos). The interior circuitry is exceptionally clean, entirely un-tampered with, and free from any obvious signs of burned-out components, leaking capacitors, or water damage. (please check photos)

It is a fantastic, unmolested candidate for a repair project.

What’s Included:

M-Audio Tampa Rack Unit

ONTOP A71230DBC 12V AC 3000mA Power Adapter

(Please note: these specific high-amperage AC-to-AC transformers are incredibly rare and hard to find on their own. It is untested, so the power fault could lie within either the wall adapter or the unit itself).

Shipping & Terms: Sold entirely as-is, with no returns, for spares, repairs, or project use only.
