1954 Fender Wide Panel Deluxe Model 5D3 in Very Good Condition. Functions as intended, we don't know the service history of the amp, but it sounds Fantastic! Non-original Mojo Tone Speaker. Serial # 2867.
The 1954 Fender Deluxe is a vintage 12-watt, all-tube combo amplifier featuring a "wide-panel" tweed cabinet and early 5C3 or 5D3 circuits.
- Power Output: Around 10 to 12 watts driven by two 6V6 output tubes and a 5Y3 rectifier.
- Speaker: Typically a 12-inch Jensen Alnico speaker (such as the P12R or P12N).
- Circuit Design: Wide-panel cabinet style (transitional era before the narrow-panel 5E3 arrived in 1955).
- Tone: Known for touch-sensitivity, glassy cleans at low volumes, and rich, harmonically saturated overdrive when cranked or when channels are bridged with a jumper cable.
- $150 Flat shipping and insurance in CONUS only.
