Rickenbacker 320 1983 - Azureglo

Rickenbacker 320 1983 - Azureglo (Rare Solid Top / August 1983 / All Original)

Description:Up for sale is a stunningly rare, all-original 1983 Rickenbacker 320 finished in the highly coveted and discontinued Azureglo (AZ).

According to the original factory jack plate code (WH1137), this instrument was completed at the Santa Ana, California factory in August 1983. This makes it one of the absolute final production runs for the classic, solid-color Azureglo finish before Rickenbacker phased it out for metallic Midnight Blue.

This particular guitar features the rare transition-era solid top (no slash soundhole) combined with a hard-hitting trio of original factory High-Gain pickups. If you love the short-scale playability made famous by John Lennon but want a bolder, incredibly unique look and a punchier sonic footprint, this is the ultimate piece.
