Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.

# Special Conditions – Instrument Shipping & Freight Damage
**Shipping, Freight Damage & Insurance Disclaimer**
All instruments purchased from our shop are carefully inspected and **professionally packed to a high standard** before being dispatched. We take every reasonable precaution to ensure that your instrument is securely protected and suitably packaged for transportation.
Once the instrument has been collected by the nominated freight or courier company, **responsibility for the instrument during transit rests with the freight carrier**.
While we take every care to ensure your instrument is packaged extremely well, **we do not accept responsibility or liability for damage, loss, mishandling, delays, or other issues that occur while the instrument is in transit**.
### Freight Insurance
**We strongly recommend that buyers arrange freight/transit insurance for all instruments being shipped.** Instruments can be valuable and, despite being securely and professionally packed, damage can occasionally occur during transportation.
Any freight insurance should be arranged **prior to dispatch** and should provide appropriate coverage for the full value of the instrument.
If your instrument arrives damaged, the buyer must:
* **Immediately inspect the package and instrument upon delivery.**
* **Photograph the packaging, including any visible damage, before opening where possible.**
* **Photograph any damage to the instrument and retain all packaging materials.**
* **Contact the freight company directly and lodge a damage or insurance claim with them.**
* Provide the freight company with any photographs, documentation, or other evidence required to support the claim.
The buyer is responsible for following up any transit damage, loss, or freight-related claim **directly with the freight company and/or freight insurer**.
Our responsibility is to ensure that the instrument is securely and appropriately packaged prior to dispatch. Once the shipment has been accepted by the freight carrier, **any damage occurring during transportation must be pursued directly with the freight company and/or relevant insurer**.
We strongly recommend that customers **inspect all deliveries immediately upon arrival** and notify the freight carrier of any suspected damage without delay.
**By proceeding with your purchase and selecting freight delivery, you acknowledge and accept these Special Shipping Conditions, including our recommendation that freight insurance be obtained.**
