Alex Lifeson needs no introduction. His playing helped define the sound of progressive rock, and now his iconic 1976 Gibson ES 355 lives on in this impressive Epiphone reissue. Part of the Inspired by Gibson Custom Collection, it faithfully captures the look, feel and versatility of the original instrument that accompanied Lifeson throughout Rush's legendary career.

Built with a five ply maple and poplar semi hollow body, a solid maple center block and a 3 piece maple neck with a Slim C profile, this ES 355 offers excellent sustain, feedback resistance and effortless playability. The ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays, gold hardware, Maestro Vibrola and premium appointments give it the elegant appearance expected from an ES 355, while a pair of USA made Gibson T Type humbuckers deliver everything from warm cleans to articulate lead tones. A Varitone circuit further expands its already impressive tonal range.

Finished in classic Alpine White, this signature model perfectly balances vintage style with modern reliability. It comes complete with its custom Alex Lifeson hardshell case and TFOA Passport.

This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
