1982 Peavey T-20 Bass – Sunburst – Made in USA – Original Molded Case

The T-20 was Peavey’s lighter, simpler alternative to the T-40, with a 34" scale maple neck and fretboard, single angled Super Ferrite pickup, and volume and tone controls.

This is a well-played vintage instrument in good condition. It has substantial honest cosmetic wear from decades of use, including finish wear, scratches, chips and edge wear, particularly on the back. There is also a small cigarette burn on the headstock. Electronics and controls are working properly. Hardware is complete and the bass plays well.

Includes the original Peavey molded hardshell case. The case itself is structurally solid and the hardware is functional, but much of the original interior foam has deteriorated with age, leaving foam and adhesive residue. A plastic barrier is currently used to keep the instrument from contacting the residue. This is shown clearly in the photos.

The bass will be carefully secured inside the case for shipping, with additional protective material used so the instrument does not contact the deteriorated interior foam. The case will then be cushioned inside a new heavy-duty guitar shipping box.
