Collings OM Model with Adirondack Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. Honduran mahogany neck. The guitar was built in 2010 and has S/N 16590. This guitar offers the classic Collings voice, which features shimmery highs, a punchy midrange, a tight and clean low end, and maximum headroom with a quick response.  The neck profile is Collings' Modified V with 1 11/16″ nut width and 2 3/16″ string spacing. Ebony fretboard and bridge. Bone nut and saddle. Ivory bridge pins with abalone insets.

The scale length is 25.5", fully adjustable truss rod, nickel Waverly tuners, medium frets, high gloss, ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Ivoroid body binding, "zipper" back strip, deluxe Collings hard-shell case by TKL.

This guitar has a K&K Pure Mini 3-head pickup mounted below the bridge plate as well as a AKG C516ML micro mic. The pickup and microphone are wired to a stereo endpin output jack.

At one point in the guitars life, I kept the guitar on a cello stand for a couple of weeks until I realized that the stand was putting pressure and leaving small dents on the soft Adirondack Spruce top. The nitro finish is not broken at these spots, and from most angles the dents aren't detectable, but when viewed from the side under bright lighting they are easily noticeable. The last photo is taken from a shallow angle under bright lights and shows the dents. I have rated the guitar at "very good" because of these spots even though I would consider the rest of the guitar as "excellent".

The guitar plays and sounds incredible. The combination of the Pure Mini pickup and AKG micro mic also do a great job of amplifying the sound.
