The LS-208 is a large-diaphragm, end-address FET condenser designed to deliver detailed condenser-mic sound while providing exceptional rejection of unwanted room sound and other off-axis sources. It’s particularly useful for vocals, instruments, control-room recording, untreated spaces, and other situations where isolation matters. 

It also handles extremely loud sources—over 135 dB SPL without an internal pad—and includes onboard low- and high-frequency sound-shaping options for tailoring the response directly at the microphone.
