For sale is a used Atomic AmpliFire 12 for the guitarist who wants amp modeling, effects, switching, and enough footswitches to feel like they’re operating a small spacecraft.

The AmpliFire 12 packs amp modeling, cabinet simulation, effects, and flexible routing into one floor unit, which means you can dramatically reduce the number of boxes, cables, and questionable pedalboard decisions in your life.

With 12 footswitches and two ports for expression pedals, there’s plenty of control under your feet for changing presets, toggling effects, and generally looking far more organized on stage than you actually are.

It’s a great option for:

  • Going direct to a PA or mixer
  • Running into a powered monitor
  • Recording
  • Rehearsal
  • Building a compact live rig
  • Spending several hours adjusting settings that were probably fine 45 minutes ago

The AmpliFire 12 gives you a wide range of amp tones and effects without requiring you to haul around multiple amps, a refrigerator-sized pedalboard, and a collection of cables that somehow knot themselves together while sitting completely still.

This unit works great and has only minimal cosmetic wear from normal use. It has never been used for live gigs, so it hasn’t spent its life being kicked around sticky club stages, thrown into trailers, or subjected to a drummer helping load gear.

It has been played, though, so it’s not a museum piece. Think “gently used guitar gear,” not “recovered from a 200-date world tour.”

The large display and dedicated controls make it much easier to work with than some modelers that require navigating seven menus just to turn the delay down slightly.

It’s especially nice for someone who wants a capable all-in-one floor rig without jumping into one of the newer modelers that costs approximately the same as a respectable used car.

Included: AmpliFire 12 and the power adapter. That’s it. No mysterious bag of cables, expression pedals, case, or collection of accessories from the bottom of my music closet.

Plug it in, build a few presets, and enjoy the familiar experience of finding a tone you love — then immediately changing it because you noticed one parameter you haven’t adjusted yet.

A solid, flexible modeler for live use, rehearsal, recording, or anyone looking to simplify their rig while still retaining the ability to overcomplicate absolutely everything else.
