For years the RG Series has been one of the most recognisable lines in the Ibanez arsenal, delivering hard rockin' metal machines with precision, speed and power. Crafted in Japan, these are some serious guitars.

With a sweet Basswood body, you get rich, tight, natural tone. Finished in a visually striking Desert Sun, it's vibrant and inspired by the great colour schemes of the '80s. The ergonomic body shape feels smooth, well balanced and poised for action.

A 5-piece Super Wizard Maple/Walnut neck has black dot inlays and 24 jumbo frets. It's designed for speed and precision, perfect for today's metal players. The masterpiece Edge tremolo bridge keeps things perfectly in tune with precise intonation.

With a rich history of crushing tones and sweeping solos to live up to, the RG550 features a duo of Ibanez V7 and V8 humbuckers either side of an S1 singlecoil in the classic HSH configuration; from pure clean tones to roaring distortion this guitar can do it all.
