Very cool piece of niche kit, requires good ankles and determination like most drum pedals. Left and right of the footboard are flanked by small switches that release and lock the second (lefthand) beater. Direct drive action has been a huge plus for me as well. Personally I've found it great for making fantastic mid tempo bass lines, but that's only cause while my determination was high my ankles were weak. Refer to El Estepario for a great video on the pedal.
Will come with the cork lightweight LowBoy beaters and the original dual sided heavyweight beaters, as well as the Allen keys and drum key it came with.
