GRETSCH GB4162S BROOKLYN 12X6 CHROME OVER STEEL SNARE DRUM - FLOOR MODEL

The Gretsch Brooklyn GB4162S is a 12x6 snare drum built on a 2mm chrome-plated steel shell in a Chrome over Steel finish. It carries six lugs, 45 degree bearing edges, and Gretsch 302 3mm double-flanged steel hoops. It suits drummers adding a compact effects snare to a kit on stage or in the studio.

The thick metal shell gives you a bright, powerful attack with dynamics that hold up on a rimshot or in the center of the head. Twenty-strand snare wires and the Gretsch Lightning throw-off keep the response quick across jazz, pop, reggae, rock, and country work, and Permatone heads by Remo cover the drum with a coated batter carrying a white sound dot over a clear snare-side head. This one is a floor model from our showroom, never sold or played on a gig, in mint condition with light stick marks from showroom handling.
