This is the upscale version of the ES-339. Ebony fretboard, block inlays, gold hardware, etc. Some of them have highly flamed maple but this one is more on the plane side.

I bought this used from guitar center online, and when it arrived I realized the frets had been replaced (no fret-nibs), so that's not original. Also the pick guard bracket-nut looks like it was replaced with something non-standard. Other than that, it was original when I purchased it.

Unique to this particular guitar, it is on the heavy side. As in, it feels more like a Les Paul Custom, even though it's semi-hollow. So if you want a semi-hollow that can handle high volume and gain, this might be just for you. What I like about this guitar is the neck feels super stable and solid, so it's great for travel and changes in climate.

I used it on a 5-month cruise ship gig and it was afterwards given extensive TLC by the guitar center repair department under warranty. This included: fret level and polish, new nut, new bridge, and setup. It plays and sounds like a dream. Original hardshell case included, as well as the original bridge, a replacement bridge that guitar center ordered incorrectly, and the original nut.
