Beautiful and hard-to-find 2005 Gibson ES-335 Dot Figured finished in Beale Street Blue. This is the factory ESDT335 figured-top model, with excellent flame/curly maple figuring visible across the body. The Beale Street Blue finish really brings out the depth of the maple and gives the guitar a striking appearance from different angles. The figuring on this maple top is pretty remarkable. The guitar is all original, including the pickups, electronics, hardware, tuners, plastics, and components, aside from the professionally refinished repair area described below. It includes the original Gibson hardshell case.

At some point in its life, the guitar suffered a partial headstock-neck crack. The crack did not result in a fully separated headstock. It was professionally repaired by Third Coast Guitars in Chicago, and the back of the neck was refinished as part of the repair to create a clean, seamless result.

The repair is extremely well executed and is almost completely invisible under normal viewing conditions. Under the right angle and lighting, a very faint witness line can still be seen beneath the finish. I have tried to photograph the repaired area clearly and accurately so there are no surprises.

The guitar is structurally sound, plays as it should, and presents exceptionally well. The combination of the Beale Street Blue finish, factory figured maple, originality, and quality of the repair makes this a particularly attractive example for someone who wants a distinctive ES-335 without paying clean-example pricing.
