Selling a pair of Dynaudio BM6A Mk1 active monitors, the original discontinued version with the red label.
As you can see from the photos, they are in excellent cosmetic condition for their age. I’ve also had a chance to try the newer version of the BM6A, and personally, I prefer the sound of these original red-label Mk1s.
These were used in my home as part of my personal audio setup, not in a studio, and have seen very little use since I’ve owned them. I recently finished building a new pair of DIY speakers, so I’ve decided to let these go.
I purchased them on eBay several years ago. The previous owner did use them in a recording studio.
Cosmetically, the only flaws I’ve noticed are two very small nicks on the corners, shown in the third and last photos. Other than those, I haven’t noticed any significant scratches, dents, or damage. That said, these are older speakers, so please have reasonable expectations regarding their age. The wood veneer does show some normal, natural aging over time.
Overall, a very clean pair of the original red-label BM6As.
