Roland MC-202 Microcomposer

Vintage Analog Sequencer/Synth, Classic Acid/Electro Sound

here is my fav Roland MC-202 Microcomposer for sale, a genuine piece of early-80s analog sequencing history and a cornerstone of the acid house and electro sound.

The MC-202 pairs a monophonic analog synth voice (closely related to the SH-101) with a built-in step sequencer, making it a self-contained groovebox decades before the term existed. It’s been a favourite of electronic producers for its gritty bassline sound and hands-on sequencing workflow.

Condition:
The unit works perfectly, all buttons, sliders and pots work well and has only cosmetic wear.

What’s included:

• Roland MC-202 unit
• Runs on standard 9v power pack (not included)
•
Been a great creative tool but it’s not getting used enough as I have another MC2oh2 with Tubbtec mods.

Notes for buyers:

• Local pickup available in London, or shipped securely with insurance
• Happy to answer questions or provide additional photos/sound clips on request
