Gibson Custom 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS — Tangerine Burst

For sale is a Gibson Custom 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS in Tangerine Burst, serial number 00186.

I purchased this guitar new from Cream City Music. The guitar has never been played and has not been gigged, modified, repaired, or otherwise altered during my ownership. It has been stored as an unplayed instrument and is being sold with its original Gibson Custom Shop case and included accessories/documentation.

Condition

The guitar is unplayed, but I want to be completely transparent about a few very minor cosmetic marks that were present when I received it from the dealer.

There is:

• One very small ding on the back of the guitar
• Three very small dings along the edge of the lower bout

These marks are extremely small and are difficult to capture in photographs, but I am disclosing them here so there are no surprises for the buyer. They were present when I purchased the guitar and were not caused during my ownership. They are cosmetic only and do not affect the guitar's playability, structure, electronics, or functionality.

Other than those minor marks, the guitar remains in unplayed condition. There are no modifications or repairs.

Where possible, I have photographed the areas referenced in the condition description, although the small dings may not be clearly visible due to their size.

Instrument

This 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue is from Gibson Custom's Historic line and is built around the specifications and appointments associated with the 1960 Les Paul Standard.

It features a one-piece lightweight mahogany body with no weight relief, a two-piece figured maple top, mahogany neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard. The 1960s SlimTaper neck profile provides a noticeably slimmer neck feel than the fuller neck profile associated with the 1959 Reissue.

The guitar is finished in Tangerine Burst VOS, with Gibson's Vintage Original Spec treatment giving the instrument its intentionally aged/antiqued appearance. The VOS treatment is factory-applied and should not be confused with actual wear from playing.

The guitar weighs 8 lb 8 oz, personally measured.
