This 1967 Chicago-built Ludwig Super-Sensitive snare drum (Model 410) measures 14" in diameter by 5" in depth. It features a beaded chrome-plated Ludalloy aluminum shell and a dual parallel-action strainer mechanism.

Shell: Seamless beaded Ludalloy (aluminum) with chrome plating.

Strainer: Dual parallel-action mechanism with side guard brackets.
Hoops: Full-style triple-flanged hoops with extended lower guards.
Snare Wires: 1970s/1980s replacement extended-length snare wires.
Heads: Batter and resonant heads in good playable shape.
Condition Note
The drum is in very good vintage condition. The chrome finish shows minor handling wear with no major pitting. The Keystone badge is firmly seated.
Mechanics & Functionality: The parallel throw-off mechanism engages, adjusts, and drops properly. Imperial lugs and tension rods turn freely, and the heads are seated and in good condition.
