Schecter Guitar Research Omen Extreme-6 FR Electric Guitar Black Cherry
The Schecter Guitar Research Omen Extreme-6 FR Electric Guitar in Black Cherry is equipped with features prized by today's players. This ax delivers aggressive tones and fast playability gig after gig. The arched top mahogany body and thin, fast maple neck give this double-cutaway extreme comfort and speed. Two powerful Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers can split to single-coils, providing a range of tones from bright cleans to high-output distortion. A Floyd Rose Special tremolo system lets you perform radical dive bombs and squeals without going out of tune. For beginners and pros alike, the Omen Extreme is a high-performance machine that's ready to take center stage at an affordable price.
Blazing Fast Neck and Premium Pickups
The Omen Extreme thin maple neck has a flat 14" radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets for blazing leads and tapping. Two Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers deliver tones from glassy cleans to aggressive distortion. Push-pull coil-splitting activates the inner single-coils for even more tonal options. A 3-way selector chooses the neck pickup, bridge pickup or both. Master volume and tone controls shape your sound.
Floyd Rose Tremolo for Extreme Techniques
A Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo lets you perform radical dive bombs, squeals, and other extreme techniques without knocking the Omen Extreme out of tune. The bridge locks the strings at the nut and bridge for rock-solid intonation during tremolo use. Recessed posts allow flush mounting to the body for enhanced playing comfort.
Premium Components and Construction
The Omen Extreme mahogany body with figured maple veneer top and cream binding make a stunning impression under the lights. Matching knobs and tuners complete the upscale look. A durable, high-gloss polyurethane finish protects the wood and gives this ax a smooth, fast neck. Reliable Grover tuners help keep you in tune through the most intense performances.
