Dark Cherry Sunburst is an outstanding match for the highly figured 10 Top Quilted Maple selected for this Wood Library build.

The deep cherry coloration around the perimeter provides a dramatic frame for the quilt, transitioning toward a warmer center that allows the natural movement of the maple to remain clearly visible. That experience is particularly meaningful when it comes to Wood Library.

The opportunity to select special woods and appointments allows us to create instruments with their own identity rather than simply ordering another standard-production guitar. The objective isn't to make something unusual simply for the sake of being different. It's to combine woods, colors and appointments in a way that produces a guitar we would genuinely be excited to own ourselves.
