Akai MG1214 1980’s

Up for auction is MG1214 12 channel tape recorder in working order. Did many records on this machine in the early 2000s and has been sitting for a few years. I did just do some tape transfers from this machine and all channels and functions were working. That being said it does need general cleaning and maintenance as pots were scratchy. This unit does have the eject issue that most of these Akai develop but tape eject if unit comes with original box and packing material and I believe that I have the manual somewhere. I’m just gonna have to dig for it if I find it, I’ll update this post. The only other thing that you should know is the bottom door for the tape does come off probably just needs to be reattached other than that solid looking for a good home and before I get a slew of. Questions yes this does have direct for each channel, but they are pre-EQ. I’m putting it as a local pick up only but that being said if you are interested, I’m sure we can work out an It’s just very big and very heavy but we can work something out.
