The TURBO MAX is a circuit I build that uses a vintage style LM4558 OP amp. This pedal produces a high amount of gain saturation. This pedal also produces more conservative sounds very well when you roll the gain back. This pedal is hand built on strip board. This pedal also works good on bass.

This pedal is somewhere between an overdrive and fuzz. It plays smoother than a fuzz, and is punchier like an overdrive. I would say this is the most modern sounding pedal that I build. It is a very versatile circuit.
