Hello! You are looking at a Pioneer PL-50 2 Speed Belt Drive Stereo Turntable. Released during the golden era of Japanese audio engineering, the PL-50 is celebrated for its solid build quality, reliable performance, and warm analog sound. Featuring a heavy real-wood veneer plinth, die-cast aluminum platter, and smooth semi-automatic operation, it makes an outstanding centerpiece for any vintage audio setup.
This turntable is in great shape for a 50+ year old turntable. It has been tested and functions as intended aside from the fact that the table continues to spin after a record is finished and does not stop on its own. The dust cover is original and nearly flawless, which is increasingly difficult to find these days! The body of the turntable shows minor signs of age and wear, which is to be expected when dealing with vintage audio equipment. Please see photos for a well-rounded look at the item's condition.
