“Growing up in the 80s and 90s instilled a love of hard rock and metal in a huge part of our staff. At the center of that movement were Jackson guitars. Born from honest beginnings and growing to take over the metal world, Jackson made the guitars we aspired to own in our early days of falling in love with guitar and music.

One of the most sought after and rare Jackson models of all time is the King V played by Dave Mustaine. Dave’s prized King V was notably designed with Korina wood. Korina is known for its incredibly warm and resonant characteristics matched with an incredible sustain.

This famous guitar was our inspiration at Empire Music. The Empire Music Exclusive Korina Wood series from the Jackson Custom Shop was born.” – Joe Ravita, Empire Music

The opportunity to work directly with the Custom Shop at Jackson on Empire Music Exclusive guitars is amazing. We only wanted to design guitars that were meaningful and represented the amazing history of Jackson. We didn’t have to think too hard. Being the Exclusive home for Korina designed Jackson Custom Shop models is an incredible honor and we couldn’t be more proud.

These guitars represent the best of Empire Music and the best of the Jackson Custom Shop.
