This beautiful 1964 Melody Maker just arrived at Quimper Sound in immaculate shape! This is the perfect guitar for someone who wants vintage tone and personality while retaining agility and playability Conditionally this guitar is in great playing shape, retaining most of its original components. The most notable change is hidden under the pickguard, someone decided to route for larger pickups that they never installed. It is invisible when the guitar is assembled and the pickguard is screwed on, we do have photos attached for reference.

The pickups, pickguard, knobs, pots are all original and are in phenomenal shape. The tuners have been replaced, and some of the small wiring components have been replaced as well. Also the "Joey Welsh Mod" was done to the one of the knobs and the control switch, switching their placement in the pickguard. This mod is very useful and completely reversable.

The finish of the guitar remains well intact with small scratches, scuffs and nicks throughout. The most notable mark is on the bottom of the guitar the finish has worn down to wood (photo'd). An era correct purple velvet lined case included! Overall a great vintage piece that wants to be loved and played for years to come. Its reasonably priced for a Gibson of this era and performs as well as its peers!
