Dramatically downsizing to help fund farm operations. Listing more than 40 pieces in the coming days. Please check my other listings.

Reverb removed "Mint" from its condition dropdown, so I had to go with "Excellent". 🙄

I purchased this brand new from Sound Pure, but it has been used less than five times total as I just haven’t been doing as much with music as I had hoped to due to some life changes. It is in absolute mint condition with zero rack rash or wear. It includes all the original packaging and will even ship to you in the exact same box it originally arrived in.

I was looking to expand my channel strip options and have always been drawn to the allure of "all-tube" designs, and Retro has been one of the best in the business when it comes to this ethos. Between the Pultec-inspired EQ section, the incredibly unique mic preamp, and the British variable-mu compressor design, it's essentially a vintage dream studio channel packed into a single 2U rack.

I've attached a recent video that I think perfectly represents all these unique features in action. It gives a great overview of exactly what this killer retro-inspired strip is capable of.

Key Features / Specs:

• Preamp: Transformer-coupled Class-A tube microphone preamplifier with massive clean gain. Includes rear XLR mic/line inputs and a front-panel 1/4" instrument DI.
• EQ: Passive Pultec-style tube EQ with authentic equalization curves. Allows for simultaneous boost and cut on the LF, and features expanded high-frequency options (10 selectable frequencies).
• Compressor: Classic British variable-mu tube compressor (EMI/Altec inspired) with 6 selectable attack/release time-constants and a brilliant 90/250Hz high-pass sidechain filter to keep the low-end from pumping.
• Features: Subsonic High-Pass Filter, independent bypass for EQ and compressor, phase reversal, and heavy-duty steel chassis.
• Format: 2U Rackmount

Let me know if you have any questions. As I mentioned above doing serious liquidation to help support the horse sanctuary so will be listing a lot in the upcoming days.

re: RETURNS I have noticed in recent years here and on other sites there seems to be an increase of buyers that purchase an item, practically invent some sort of problem or issue, and then hold the seller's feedback ransom in order to get a few bucks back for free. That is why I am making it perfectly clear in my listings that I do not accept returns. Please ask all questions up front (additional condition details, request more pictures, etc.). However, if you check my feedback both here and on a popular auction site ( jmarsh45 ) you will see that I have a perfect 100% feedback rating of over 1,500 across both platforms over the past 20+ years. I take my feedback and my gear very seriously even though I am a hobbyist. So please know that if there is a genuine problem, I am sure we can work something out. Just reach out before or after with any questions or issues.
