The Genelec 8020C is a compact, bi-amplified active near-field studio monitor designed for accurate sound reproduction in small spaces. Genelec manufactured this model between 2013 and 2017.

- Aluminum Enclosure: Uses a Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE) made of cast aluminum to reduce sound distortion and edge reflections.
- Waveguide Technology: Features a Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) to keep frequency response flat whether you sit directly in front of the speaker or slightly to the side.
- Auto Standby Mode: Includes Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) circuitry that lowers power use to under 0.5 watts when no audio plays for a set time.
- Vibration Isolation: Ships with an Iso-Pod rubber base that decouples the monitor from your desk to stop unwanted rumble.
