TASCAM DA88 - White

Tascam DA-88, from 1994, manual, power cord, two cleaning tapes.

This unit powers up and plays back old tapes. Occasional brief lighting of the error light is likely due to the age of the tapes used for testing. The transport functions normally and the display works well. This is an older machine though and it has been in storage for many years. Still, it is in excellent physical shape for its age and likely did not get an excessive amount of hours of use while in service. It will likely require some TLC and light maintenance, as machines of this age often do.

Please note, and this is important, this piece lived in a studio with a pipe smoker, so it will definitely need to be cleaned and aired out, because it does have a smoky smell. Please do not purchase this item if you are unwilling to deal with this reality.
