Beautiful Murphy Lab aged ES-335 '64 reissue finished in classic Cherry Red. It's covered in factory lacquer checking which looks superb as it catches the light (we've tried to highlight this on some of the close-up photos) and has only a few barely visible blemishes on close inspection (as photographed). A lovely example with no issues and everything working as it should.

This reissue ES-335 is the pinnacle of Gibson Custom Shop craftsmanship. The expert craftspeople at Gibson Custom Shop have paid attention to every little detail to ensure that this instrument would do justice to the time period. From vintage replica parts to recreated contours, it all comes together with excellence.

This 1964 Reissue model utilises sharp horn cutaways, a medium C-shape neck profile scanned from originals, small block inlays and vintage-replica parts. The Murphy Lab 'Ultra Light Aged' finish treatment, paired with lightly aged hardware, simulates decades of subtle playing wear — giving it the unique character, vibe and feel of an original example from Gibson's "Golden Era". It has the classic double bound semi-hollow 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body with solid Maple centreblock and nitro lacquer finish, solid Mahogany neck with Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 12 radius, Medium Jumbo frets, Nylon nut, long tenon, Kluson tuners, ABR-1 bridge and lightweight Aluminium Stop Bar.

Tone-wise you get unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups for classic tone, 2 volume controls, 2 tone controls, 3-way Switchcraft pickup selector, CTS 500k Audio Taper Potentiometers and Paper-in-oil Capacitors. Essentially, no expense has been spared to ensure that it's a guitar that is as good as it gets.

It comes with its original hard case, its Murphy Lab COA and all of its original paperwork etc as pictured.
