Radial Workhorse "The Cube" (500 Series Power Rack) + dbx 580 Mic Preamp 2013 - Blue

Up for sale is a Radial Engineering Workhorse "The Cube" — a compact 3-slot desktop power rack for 500 Series modules, made in Canada — loaded with a dbx 580 Mic Preamp installed in slot 1.

The Cube is the smallest and most portable entry in Radial's acclaimed Workhorse line, designed to bring full 500-series functionality to the desktop rather than a rackmount chassis. Built with a 14-gauge steel frame and gold-contact EDAC connectors for reliable signal transfer, it delivers 500mA of shared current plus dedicated 48V phantom power — enough to run power-hungry modules without compromise. Each slot has discrete XLR I/O plus parallel TRS connectors on the back, and the innovative Feed function lets you chain modules together without patch cables.

The included dbx 580 Mic Preamp is a well-regarded 500-series preamp featuring:

• Analog VU meter for real-time Preamp Level monitoring
• Gain control (up to +60dB) with Peak LED indicator
• 20dB Pad
• dbx's signature High Detail / Low Detail controls for harmonic enhancement
• Detail Enable switch
• Variable Low Cut filter (30Hz–300Hz)
• +48V Phantom Power
• Polarity Invert
• Combo Mic/Instrument input with front-panel instrument jack

Slots 2 and 3 are currently open (blank plates installed), leaving room to expand with any other 500-series modules down the line.

Condition: Very Good — minor scratches and normal signs of wear consistent with regular studio use. Fully functional with no electrical or mechanical issues. All knobs, switches, meter, and the preamp circuit work exactly as they should.

What's included:

• Radial Workhorse "The Cube" (3-slot power rack)
• dbx 580 Mic Preamp module

(Note: external power supply not included — the Cube requires Radial's specific power adapter with a locking 4-pin XLR connector, not a standard cable.)
