The Telecaster, Evolved

This isn't just another Tele. This is the Fender Player II Telecaster, and it's been thoughtfully updated for the modern musician who still craves that classic Fender soul. The first thing you'll notice is its lightness, courtesy of a chambered ash body. This design doesn't just save your back; it opens up the guitar's voice, adding a beautiful resonance and airy bloom to every note you play. Finished in a gorgeous White Blonde, it's a guitar that feels alive in your hands.

Modern Playability, Timeless Tone

Fender paired that resonant body with a rock-solid maple neck carved into a comfortable Modern "C" profile. The satin finish on the back feels instantly broken-in, while the 9.5" radius slab rosewood fingerboard is a perfect canvas for both chording and single-note runs. It’s a neck built for long sessions, whether you're on stage or in the studio.

The Voice of the Player

At the heart of this Tele are the Player Series Alnico 5 single-coil pickups. These pickups are the real deal, delivering all the twang, snap, and crystalline clarity you expect from a great Telecaster, but with a touch more punch and articulation. From glassy clean tones to gritty, overdriven textures, these pickups clean up beautifully with your volume knob and capture every nuance of your playing. The classic 3-way switch gives you the biting bridge pickup, the warm and mellow neck pickup, and the quintessential "in-between" sound that has defined countless records.

- In business since 1976! Moore Music has been a premier brick-and-mortar guitar shop in Evansville, Indiana since shortly after opening in 1976. Founder, Pat Moore, instilled in his business the concept of old-school service that we build upon today. When the current owner, Brett Mulzer, took the store online as Moore Guitars in 2013, we quickly developed a reputation for honesty and integrity in all our interactions with our customers. That’s a prime reason why we’re the fastest-growing online guitar shop.

- Old School Customer Service: Nothing is more important than helping a customer even if we don’t make a sale. We believe that if we’re honest with you, and treat you right, you’ll be back. Call us, or chat with us online. We love talking about guitars, and we want to help you find your perfect instrument. Even if it’s not from us.... but we think it will be!

- Our sales staff are all musicians! What’s more important than communication? We speak your language. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional player, we’ve been in your shoes. A lot of aspects of the guitar are intangible, and a non-player just can’t understand. It’s a guitar thing. But we can talk about tone and feel in the same language you use. We know what it means to love an instrument, and we want to help you find your new love.

You should have NO disappointments when you see this guitar and hold it for its first strum! Please call the staff at Moore Guitars if you would like to have a personal “on the phone” description of this guitar. Thank you for looking at our listing!
