1993 Gibson ES-175 - Vintage Sunburst, made in the USA.

Serial number 92383429, which dates the guitar to 26 August 1993 (the 238th day of that year).

The factory label reads simply ES-175. Gibson discontinued the single-pickup version in 1971 and dropped the D suffix afterwards, so this is the two-pickup configuration originally designated ES-175D.

The classic archtop hollowbody: laminated maple body, two humbuckers, and the warm, woody tone the ES-175 has been known for since 1949.

CONDITION - rated Very Good

An honest, played instrument rather than a collector's piece:

- Nitrocellulose finish shows checking / weather checking, typical of this era

- Dings, scratches and buckle rash from regular use

- Fret wear is present; consistent with regular use. The guitar remains fully playable throughout the neck.

- Fully functional: pickups, both volume and tone controls, the selector switch and all hardware have been checked and work as they should
